Sponsorship

Please take time to learn about this year’s sponsor(s):

FourthParty is built for mediators for mediators. After a particularly frustrating week balancing the demands of his litigation and mediation practice, co-founder Gino Brogdon Jr was inspired to find a tech solution to help him get more done as a legal small business owner.

He had spent hours looking for a single document, days scheduling one conversation, and was month’s behind on following up on unpaid invoices. And when he looked for a solution, there was no all-in-one solution that met his unique needs as an attorney turned neutral.

FourthParty was built to reduce time waste and security risks related to scheduling and data management that both mediators and office administrators would equally love. Gino collaborated with co-founder Melissa Brogdon, to leverage her experience managing his law firm’s operations to design FourthParty’s core features.

Every piece of FourthParty is informed by feedback from hundreds of hours of conversations with mediators, arbitrators, law and mediation firm administrators and legal office managers. FourthParty empowers operations teams at small-to-midsize dispute resolution businesses so that they can focus on what truly matters, the people.

The Alternative Dispute Resolution Certificate program at UGA’s School of Law is an online 12-credit hour course of study in mediation, arbitration, ADR systems design, and collaborative negotiation. With an emphasis on learning through experiences, students develop dispute resolution skills for workplaces, courts, civic organizations, and the broader community. The program’s courses and practicum are designed to fulfill requirements for registration as a mediator with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution. Apply now to join the community of peacemakers as early as January 2023.
