Roadmap for Personal Injury Mediation

1 hour of CE for registered neutrals (GA) & 1 hour of CLE for Georgia attorneys

Session Information

Personal injury cases are often mediated but infrequently presented on at large continuing education events for mediators. During this session, former judge and personal injury mediation aficionado Jason Harper unveils a roadmap for navigating these seemingly elusive (but not really!) cases, utilizing audience experience to tailor the journey in-real-time.

In-person attendees can join Hon. Jason Harper for Roadmap for Personal Injury Mediation in Room A:

2:15pm to 3:15pm

This session will NOT be live-streamed to virtual attendees, but a recording will be made available to all for the month of December 2023.

Hon. Jason Harper

Jason Harper served as Judge of the State Court of Henry County for ten years prior to becoming Georgia’s youngest senior judge at age 45. During his tenure on the bench, Judge Harper regularly presided over cases involving medical malpractice, wrongful death, personal injury, and contract disputes. Prior to joining the bench, Judge Harper maintained a civil and domestic litigation practice and regularly served as a guardian ad litem and mediator in domestic cases. For eight years, Judge Harper served as a Special Assistant Attorney General representing the Georgia Department of Human Resources. His law firm also served as the County Attorney for Henry County, Georgia, and served for four hears as the elected countywide chair of the Henry County Board of Commissioners.
